Challenges

The Ukrainian energy market faces a structural generation deficit of approximately 6 GW during peak demand periods, with total sector reconstruction needs estimated at USD 90.6 billion. This systemic crisis demands a fundamental shift from legacy infrastructure to a decentralized, resilient generation model. The scale of capital required cannot be met by public funding alone, creating an urgent need for private institutional capital capable of navigating geopolitical realities while bridging the gap to European energy market integration.
